It’s been three years since The Killers, Day and Age, but drummer Ronnie Vannucci has revealed that The Killers are indeed heading back into the studio as early next week to begin working on a new album. Brandon Flowers had stated late last year that the band wasn’t through despite rumors of a breakup, but this was the first reporting of The Killers actually getting back into the studio to start the recording process.
“Tuesday, I think we start doing some writing,” Vannucci was quoted as saying in an interview with London’s Xfm radio. “We all have stuff… piles of songs we want to show each other. We want to get back in the studio and start writing.”
