One tour that won’t be hitting America or anywhere else for that matter, is the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary jaunt, which has been the subject of endless speculation for the past year plus.
Band figureheads Mick Jagger and Keith Richards confirmed to Rolling Stone magazine, in separate interviews, that it’s not happening — at least not this year.“Basically, we’re just not ready,” Richards said, adding that a tour next year was “more realistic.”
The Stones haven’t toured since the extensive “Bigger Bang” tour that went for two years and almost 150 dates from 2005 to 2007.
